MEET REV. LEI SEAN CURTIS
Rev. Lei Sean Curtis is a dynamic woman of faith, purpose, and perseverance whose life has been marked by service, creativity, and a deep love for God and His people. A proud native of Detroit, Michigan, Lei Sean spent over 20 years in Mesa, Arizona, before returning to her hometown, where her roots and ministry continue to flourish. She is a loving mother to D'Andre Curtis and Avery Clark, and a proud GiGi to her precious grandson, Andres Curtis.
Lei Sean has dedicated over 30 years to the Allied Healthcare field, working as an educator, mentor, Laboratory Consultant, and Clinical Research Coordinator. Her compassion for healing extends beyond medicine and into ministry, where she serves as an Associate Pastor and Community Outreach Liaison for Christ Cathedral Baptist Church. She is also a Chaplain for the Detroit Police Chaplain Corps, offering spiritual care and presence to those in need.
Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2015 and later as an Associate Pastor in 2018 in New Beginnings Christian Church in Mesa, AZ, Lei Sean has faithfully served in multiple ministry roles. Her journey began as a teenager and has included leading the DOVE Women’s Ministry and facilitating workshops for several women’s ministries, including Covenant Faith Works, LLACE, and S.H.E Speaks/Builds. Her first sermon, Anchors in the Midst of a Storm, marked the beginning of a bold and transformative walk in ministry.
An academic at heart, she holds an Associate of Science degree from Marygrove College and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University. Lei Sean is also a published poet featured in two anthologies and now celebrates the release of her debut book, D'Vine Devotional Moments—a devotional inspired by her own season of healing and spiritual reflection.
Outside of ministry and healthcare, Lei Sean is a creative entrepreneur. She is the founder of DVine Enterprises LLC and DVine Healthcare Solutions, a nonprofit organization. She also co-owns My Chere Amour, a business she shares with her sister Dawn. In her spare time, she designs DVinely Designed Jewelry, works as a part-time travel agent, and delights in planning unforgettable getaways for loved ones.
